Since its inception in 1930, Jumbo International manufactures and markets Thermally Processed Canned & Frozen Food Products. The factory is FSSAI certified and has also been awarded HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). The company was awarded the MSME Special Recognition Award 2010 by the then President of India for manufacturing outstanding Quality Products under the category ‘Ready to Eat/Instant Mix Food’ in 2011.
With our aim to serve to our clients’ unique requirements, we also customise products to suit their taste and need. We develop the products, conduct the suitable tests and sample, incorporate the required changes until the product meets the clients’ expectations.
Canned Indian vegetable curries and ready-to-eat frozen snacks are marketed under the brand, Handi.
Handi uses the best in quality ingredients & seasoning and follows recipes & techniques that enhance the flavour and aroma keeping the taste of ingredients intact. Ingredients such as Bengal Gram, Soya, Chickpeas and Broad Beans are high in protein making the products very wholesome and vitamin rich. Since we manufacture over 2000 kg per day we are able to main the same quality and taste in all our products.
The clients – Hotels, Caterers, Clubs, Banquets and Quick Service Restaurants have been able to increase their menu offering without having to make these products on their own. The company serves to Hotels like ITC Maurya, Leela Group of Hotels, Crown Plaza, Radisson, Lemon Tree, IBIS to QSR’s including Subway, Cafe Coffee Day, Chaayos, Mr. Sub, Pita Pit, Burgrill, Dominos amongst others. These chains use the products as their vegetarian fillers in between sandwiches, pitas, wraps and burgers. They also serve them as it is.
Under Midland, the company offers canned food products for the institutional customers. A food solution company that serves a premium range of Canned Food Ingredients with passion and knowledge gained over decades of experience in this field.
Midland stands for quality & fresh food ingredients that are canned in our facility with a capacity close to 20,000 to 40,000 cans per day depending upon the product. It is ensured that production takes place during season using the best quality crop and produce.
Through backward integration, Midland has tied up with farmers who exclusively grow vegetables and fruits to be used in the canned products assuring the usage of best quality ingredients. With the in-house laboratory, all ingredients and products are tested to perfection before production and packing.
The clientele includes leading 5 star hotels such as ITC Group, Le Meridien, Hyatt, Leela Group of Hotels, Radisson among many more.
The company is also one of the largest exporters of canned food products in India including Sarson Ka Saag which is sold worldwide under various brands.
